Fulani’ll Remain In Power To Islamise Nigeria, Won’t Handover To Igbo – Bishop Nzekwesi

Bishop Onyeka Nzekwesi of Jesus Alive Ministry has disclosed that the Fulanis are determined to remain in power in 2023 to Islamise Nigeria.

Nzekwesi made the remark while noting that Fulanis have no plans to hand over power to the Southeast.

Addressing journalists in Onitsha, Anambra State, the clergyman said the Fulanis have an anti-Igbo agenda that has been outstanding for a long time.

He, however, pointed out that the plan to Islamize Nigeria would fail.

According to the clergyman: “Fulani caliphates have a long plan against Igbo and as such, no Igboman is a friend to Fulani.

They want to continue their leadership and as such have no plan to hand over to Igbo- or Yoruba but to remain in power in 2023 to help them Islamise the country. They are scattered all over the country including Africa.

“Their plan can not work in God’s name. A child of God whether Christian or Muslim will emerge as the president come 2023 but it will be best for Igbo for rapid infrastructural development of the country because of his ingenuity.”

On the incessant killings, maiming, armed robbery, banditry, kidnapping in the country, he attributed the problems to Pentecostal clerics who he said preached contrary to the expectation of the church.

“I listened to a pentecostal pastor on social media saying no amount of sin will make one go to hell because Christ has paid for all the sins. The man was making people sin in disguise. Some people do not only do evil but lure others to do it thereby deceiving many souls,” he said.

“Everyone is talking about grace and nobody is talking about righteousness. If the entire church is doing what is supposed there will be peace in the world.”

Missing Gold Church Boy: Founder of Sotitobire discharged and acquitted by Appeal Court

The Court of Appeal sitting in Akure, the Ondo State capital, has upturned the life imprisonment conviction against Prophet Babatunde Alfa over the disappearance of one-year-old Gold Kolawole in his Church in November 2019.

The court acquitted the Prophet of conspiring, aiding and abetting the disappearance of Gold Kolawole in his church.

Alfa is the Founder of Sotitobire Praising Chapel with headquarters in Akure, the Ondo state capital.

Recall that an Ondo State High court had sentenced the Prophet to life imprisonment over the disappearance of Gold Kolawole in his church in 2019.

Prophet Alfa then appealed the judgement of the High Court, asking the Court of Appeal court to nullify his life sentence conviction.

Delivering judgement on behalf of other judges, Justice Gamma Barka ruled that the circumstantial evidence the high court based its judgement on was not enough to convict him.

Justice Barka, therefore, discharged and acquitted Prophet Alfa of the offence.

2023: I will correct the wrongs in the country if given the chance — Tinubu

The APC Chieftain is reportedly determined to contest in 2023.

The National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has said he is aware that Nigerians are angry over years of leadership failure in the country, and the inability of the current government to improve their quality of life.
He however, pleads with the people to not give up, but instead, give the ruling party another chance in the next presidential election to correct the wrongs.

Tinubu who is going all out for the presidency in a potentially political career ending contest, has been up and doing, making consultations and seeking support from influential persons across the country.

His most recent jaunt saw him visit elder statesman, Alhaji Tanko Yakasai, who confirmed that the APC National Leader not only informed him of his desire to contest in the next presidential election, but also “asked for my support.”

“He (Tinubu) just came to visit me but actually I have two of them (presidential aspirants) that I have earmarked right from the beginning and I made a vow that any one of them who came to ask for my support first is the person I would support. Tinubu is the first person, ” he told told Saturday Punch.

It is believed that Tinubu is determined to contest in the next election even if it means running on a different platform should the APC fail to give him the party’s ticket.

Speaking in Kano in what would be seen as a political statement from a man who hopes to succeed Buhari in 2023, Tinubu is already laying the ground work, promising to address the many challenges currently facing the country.

“When you see the social media today, you see the minds of our youths. They are angry, but we appeal to them that we will listen to them,” Tinubu said in the statement.

He said the poor state of the nation’s economy has forced Nigerians into compulsory fasting, adding that the current government need to do more to address these urgent issues.

“Your own employment rate is 33% and you ask us to keep on fasting. The one we are fasting spiritually is voluntary. We have been fasting for so many years.”

He added that sovereignty is that of Nigeria and it is only the federal government that has the sovereign power and must use it to improve the quality of life of Nigerians.
