On February 20, 2014, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi was removed as Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria by President Goodluck Jonathan.
On March 9, 2020, Sanusi was dethroned as the Emir of Kano by the Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje-led Kano State government. History Ville.

Kano state government has appoints Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero as the new Emir of Kano after the dethronement of Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.
Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero until his appointment was the Emir of Bichi.

Northern Ireland confirmed another two cases of coronavirus,
It bring the total number of cases to three – none are connected to each other.
The two new cases are adults, with one recently returning from northern Italy. The second was in contact with someone in the United Kingdom who had tested positive for Cov19, the respiratory disease caused by the virus.
The first case was a woman who had travelled to northern Italy , which is at the centre of the European outbreak.
Chief medical officer Dr Michael McBride says both patients are receiving the appropriate care and officials were working to identify anyone they had come into contact with.
