The department of health has confirmed another four cases of coronal virus in Ireland, making it a total six cases of coronavirus in the Republic of Ireland.

The four new patients consist of two females and two males from the west of Ireland.

The four new patients are all associated with travel from the same affected area in Northern Italy, the Department confirmed.

Dr Tony Holohan, Chief Medical Officer with the Department of Health, said: “Tonight we can confirm there are now six cases of Covid-19 in Ireland. Contact tracing is underway for these four new cases.”

It bring the total number of cases to three – none are connected to each other.

The two new cases are adults, with one recently returning from northern Italy. The second was in contact with someone in the United Kingdom who had tested positive for Cov19, the respiratory disease caused by the virus.

The first case was a woman who had travelled to northern Italy , which is at the centre of the European outbreak.
Chief medical officer Dr Michael McBride says both patients are receiving the appropriate care and officials were working to identify anyone they had come into contact with.

Another case of coronavirus was confirmed in Ireland today by the HSE.

A lady from the East county of Ireland had recently traveled back from northern Italy.

The Health Service Executive (HSE) is working to identify what contacts the patient may have had to prevent further spread of the virus.

The new NCP coronavirus may not show sign of infection for many days then how can one know if he/ she is infected ?
Latest information is that the incubation period may be upto 28 days before the symptoms of COVID 19 are evident.

By the time a person has fever and/or cough and goes to the hospital, the lungs are usually 50 % Fibrosis and it’s too late !

Even if the virus does enter into your mouth…drinking water or other liquids will WASH them down through your oesophagus and into the stomach.

If you don’t drink enough water more regularly…the virus can enter your windpipes and into the LUNGS.
