The Lagos State Government has commenced releasing impounded vehicles to their owners free of charge without payment of fines.
The state Commissioner for Transportation, Dr Frederic Oladeinde, made this known in Lagos on Tuesday.
He said the exercise commenced last Saturday and is still ongoing, noting that the state government made the decision as a measure to ease the cash crunch on its citizens as a result of the Central Bank of Nigeria’s naira redesign policy.
The commissioner noted that vehicles that were impounded for minor traffic offences would be released to their owners and fines waived.
He said, “There are some people that committed offences during that period and we understand the fact that money wasn’t easy to come by.
3:Commit your work to the LORD, and your plans will be established.
Heavenly Father, today I commit all my works and activities to You. Please work through me so that Your plans for my life will reach their full fruition, to Your praise and glory. In Jesus’ name Amen.

The governor spoke during an interactive session with civil servants at the local government level on Monday at the Adeyemi Bayero Auditorium within the Alausa Secretariat, in Ikeja.

“I as governor have promised to increase, no matter how small, the salary of the public servants,” he said.

Mr Kunle K1 de Ultimate band member came out to shut down rumour of crisis in K1 and Emmanuella’s marriage.
HERE IS WHAT KUNLE POSTED ABOUT THE CRISIS IN K1 AND EMMANUELLA’S MARRIAGE.
Our attention has been drawn yet again to another rounds of unofficial and unreliable piece of information that the Mayegun of Yorubaland, K1 de Ultimate is not in love with his darling wife hence the rejection of her kiss at his surprise birthday gig held at Radisson Blu over the weekend.
These rumour mongers have turned what ordinary was inconsequential to something they feel in their delusion, they should celebrate and spread for a gain we do not understand.
It is rather unfortunate that these rumour spinners who thrive only in negativity should be able to see through their hate that love indeed has found a place to stay permanently in the couple’s hearts.
It is so evident that K1 and his wife Emmanuella love each other dearly. This should be understood by many especially those who are waiting to rejoice at any bad news about the couple.
Many of these gossips believe that the union will not work are in perpetual agony when they see the marriage flourishing. It engulfs them with sadness and pain so much that their daily activities is to shop endlessly for ways to transfer their unhappy mode to a couple who is constantly enjoying the bliss of their union.
We wish to say it clearly for the umpteenth time, that “Ajike Okin” and her darling husband K1 de Ultimate have mastered the way to always keep their faces toward the sunshine, so that the shadows can fall behind them. They are still sailing on that love boat with no intention to halt the sail or sink it.
Nigerian Popular dancer, Kaffy Shafau, has withdrawn her daughter from Chrisland High School.
Kaffy reveal this in a video shared on her Instagram, where she spoke on the unfortunate incident that led to the death of 12-year-old Whitney Adeniran, a student of the school.
According to her, the negative reports trailing the school are becoming one too many with the institution not showing effort to make amends.
Recall that Tribune Online reported Whitney’s autopsy indicated she died from electrocution during an inter-house sports ceremony.
The mother of two decried the several ‘sacrifices’ of children in Nigerian schools due to carelessness.
She noted that it is sad that an unfortunate incident has to keep happening at the school before things change, meanwhile innocent students and parents keep getting affected.
“I have to make this video as a mother, I don’t think anybody in this life prays to lose a child, it is inconsolable because it is a grief you carry forever, there is nothing that can replace it.
“I’m speaking out not as solidarity with the victim’s mum, but because my children goes there. This is a school that I use to be so proud of and I thrived to put my children there because I belief in the System in the 80’s. The foundation at which the school was built upon, and this is not it.
“The entire school need to be shutdown totally, as I feel right now, my child is not going there, even though I paid school fees already.
“It is becoming a consistent pattern where systems are not properly put in place, it now looks like we need to sacrifice our children before a system needs to be checked,” she lamented.
26:Saying, “If you will diligently listen to the voice of the LORD your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, your healer.
Heavenly Father, thank You, that You are the great healer.
I am thankful I can lay my burdens at your feet. I pray for Your healing touch in my life. You are my Jehovah-Rapha, and Your grace is sufficient, Amen.
6:Seek the LORD while he may be found; call upon him while he is near;
7:let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
8:For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD.
Loving Heavenly Father, forgive my pride in trying to second-guess what You are doing, and even trying to tell you at times what is best for my life. Help me to remember that You have a perfect plan and purpose for all Your children. Keep me broken at the Cross, and may Your will be done in my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
10:And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
Heavenly Father, thank You that You are the God of all grace. Thank You that Christ suffered once for all on the Cross for me, not only paying the price for my sins, but also breaking the power of sin and Satan in my life.
Continue to perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish me, and may I never forget that You Who started a good work in me will continue until the day of Christ Jesus. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
9: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Heavenly Father, thank You that when Christ died, He paid the price for my sins and broke the power of sin in my life.
In Him, I have fellowship with You and free access to the throne of grace. I confess that I have not always walked in spirit and truth but have given in to the temptations to follow the desires and cravings of my own heart.
Lord I am sorry for doing things that were displeasing to You and omitting to do those things that were pleasing to You but thank You that You are faithful and just to forgive all my sins and to keep on cleansing me from unrighteousness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
