The Wizard Called Emmanuel Has Been Consumed – Rev Chris Okotie

Rev. Chris Okotie, the Shepherd Superintendent of the Household of God Church, on Tuesday morning shared a cryptic post on his Facebook page in which he referenced a certain ”wizard of Endor” who assumed the title of ”Emmanuel”.

The clergyman in his post said the wizard who assumed the title of Emmanuel had been consumed by divine indignation.

His post comes days after a clergyman, T.B Joshua, who was known for using the name ”Emmanuel” in his church, died.

Okotie further noted that the day of God’s vengeance has fully come to Nigeria though it wasn’t clear who he was directly referencing in his post.

”Hebrews 1:13 says Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool.

”The wizard at Endor who assumed the title Emmanuel has been consumed by divine indignation. And now his disciples bewail his ignominious exit.

”No marvel, one-third of God’s angels followed the disgraced anointed cherub Lucifer!!

”Jesus our mighty gladiator has broken the head of the dragon with his mighty blows.

”He has descended from the mountain of spices with the fiery sword of his indignation. Glorious in his apparel and traveling in the greatness of his strength, he goes conquering and to conquer the adversaries of his church.

”Let those who swear by the Lord and by Malcham and the descendants of Haman, now tremble in fear.

”The day of the vengeance of our God has fully come to Nigeria. And they shall not escape,” he wrote.

2023: Tinubu Step Aside Allow Osinbajo to contest, APC Group tells Tinubu

A support group in the ruling All Progressives Congress APC, the Progressive Consolidation Group PCG has advised a national leader of the party and former Lagos State Governor to drop his 2023 presidential ambition and instead support Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.

The group declared that re-strategization priorities of the Muhammadu Buhari presidency and the APC must include considerations of an Osinbajo presidency in 2023 towards enhancing progressive reforms and national unity.

“Both President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo must reach an accord for timely preparation of a more vibrant successor-administration to be headed by the current Vice President while APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu should reconsider his ambition,” the group asserted.

At a media interface Wednesday in Abuja, PCG’s National Coordinator, Hon. Ahmed Mohammed and National Secretary, Dr Eberechukwu Eli Dibia who spoke on behalf of members drawn from the six geo-political zones pledged the group’s preparedness to begin mobilization and sensitization visits to various stakeholders including the media across the federation.

“Very soon, our group will enlist the support of leaders of thought to drive home our points nationwide; we are aware of the insecurity, economic worries and other issues confronting citizens but planlessness is not a virtue and we advocate that after two years into its second term, this administration must begin serious plans for the years ahead.

“We are aware that some aides of VP Osinbajo described calls for the learned gentleman’s involvement in the 2023 race as ‘mere distraction’ and we are also aware of the views of thoughtful Nigerians including the Emir of Gombe, Alhaji Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III who commended Osinbajo’s loyalty to President Buhari and the spearheading of important reforms towards enhancing ease of doing business, enhancing ICT innovation, as well as economic policies to reduce the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“President Buhari can optimally utilize what is currently within the administration now to build a better future by convincing the not-so-political Professor of Law to run in 2023; his candidature would be far more appealing to Nigerian youths, discerning elders and various sectors of the population.

“As for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, he is a great war general but with a chink in his armour such that opponents may easily exploit his Achilles heels to make things very difficult for the ruling party if he becomes presidential candidate in 2023; there is no need to expatiate on what baggages constitute such vulnerabilities at the moment,” they stated.

Expressing what they described as ‘patriotic concerns’ over various national challenges including rising insecurity, separatist agitations, unemployment and other economic issues, the PCG which stated that its membership includes ‘APC loyalists, patriots from other parties and numerous apolitical patriots’ also urged Nigerians not to give into undue anxiety as the situation is not beyond redemption.

“The rather pessimistic views of Ambassador John Campbell and others have energized anxieties but by going back to the drawing table and preparing for the future with our best eleven, including the likes of Osinbajo, Nigeria can be united and made to rise exponentially in the comity of nations.

“Nigeria is not a failed state; today’s challenges are rooted in errors of the past and some misjudgments of the present time but if we re-strategize, we can drastically curb our difficulties and give our people greater basis for hope.

“President Buhari has tried his best over the past six years but much more needs to be done and an Osinbajo successor administration would be in a vantage position to marshal the energies of youth and the visionary experience to transform this great nation,” the Progressive Consolidation Group emphasized.

Oyo Police Are Supporting The Killers Herders.

Paramount ruler of the Oyo empire, the Alaafin of Oyo; Oba Lamidi Adeyemi has chided the Oyo State Police Command, accusing them of subtly supporting Killer Fulani herders to injure, maim, kidnap, and kill the people of Igangan and other areas in Oyo State.

Oba Adeyemi shared his thoughts about the complicity of the Nigeria Police force in a Sunday statement where he reacted to the recent attack on the residents of Igangan community, in the Ibarapa North area of Oyo state.

The first-class monarch, in reaction to the sudden and gruesome massacre at Igangan yesterday, hinted that the police were supporting the killings by failing to prosecute suspects handed over to them and also releasing such suspects back into society.

In his words, “The wanton destruction of life and property, including the palace of the Asigangan of Igangan, is quite sad.”

“Despite all efforts made at curtailing this ugly menace long before it starts staring us in the face, several Fulanis have been arrested and handed over to the police in Oyo State. But there has not been any conviction not to talk of diligent prosecution as the arrested Fulanis are back on the street 24 hours after being arrested for various heinous crimes.”

Oyo State Massacre: 50 People Lost Their Lives, North Want War- Iba Gani Adams.

Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Adams on Sunday said with the killing of over 50 people in Igangan town, Ibarapa, Oke Ogun area of Oyo State, it is evident that war is imminent in the country.

Adams, while condemning the gruesome murder of innocent residents of the town, warned Fulani herdsmen and bandits to stay away from the southwest or be ready to face stiff resistance.

The killings in the early hours of Sunday brought the entire Igangan town and its environs to its knees with over 50 people dead, cars burnt and over 20 houses razed.

After news of the killings and destruction filtered in, with gory videos of the massacre, Adams said the North had waged war against the Southwest.

Makinde reacts as gunmen invade Igangan, kill scores

He said the North had unleashed terror on the region, stressing the need for the people to rise and defend themselves “without looking back”.

“In a situation like this, you rise and defend yourself. Where are the police when the bandits started killing our people in Igangan today?

Even the palace of Asigangan of Igangan land, Oba Adewuyi Olaoye, was not spared and the monarch, according to reports had been whisked away by the bandits.

“Three days ago, the Director-General of Oyo State Southwest Security Network Amotekun, Gen. Kunle Togun(Retd) raised the alarm that herdsmen had invaded the southwest.

“I corroborated his statements and called for urgent surveillance across the southwest. Now with the recent onslaught on Igangan people, it is evident that the Fulani herdsmen are on a predetermined mission to kill, maim and decimate the southwest.

This is one killing too many, I will not fold my arms seeing the blood of innocent people being shed like it is in Igangan.

“Now that North had declared war on the Southwest, we will never silent or compromise on the homicide going on in the southwest. I want to charge all the governors in the Southwest, as well as the traditional rulers to rise to this occasion.”

The Yoruba generalissimo warned criminal herders to stay away from the region, as the Southwest can no longer accommodate killers. OPC and other local security operatives will continue to ensure that the region is safe for residents.

Those killed in Igangan town have their families and friends, there is blood flowing in their veins and in a moment their lives were cut short by killer herdsmen and bandits in their home”.

Adams disclosed that information at his disposal indicates that bandits and killer herdsmen have invaded the Southwest thus pushing the security outfits to the wall.

He urged all governors to beef up the security of their respective states to provide adequate security for the people of the region.

We’re Disappointed”: UK, Canada, US, EU, Ireland, Norway Issue Joint Statement on Buhari’s #TwitterBan

The diplomatic missions of Canada, the European Union (Delegation to Nigeria), the Republic of Ireland, Norway, the United Kingdom and the United States of America convey our disappointment over the
Government of Nigeria’s announcement suspending #Twitter and proposing registration requirements for other social media.

We strongly support the fundamental human right of free expression and access to information as a pillar of democracy in Nigeria as around the world and these rights apply online as well as offline. Banning systems of expression is not the answer. These measures inhibit access to information and commerce at precisely the moment when Nigeria needs to foster inclusive dialogue and expression of opinions, as well as share vital information in this time of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The path to a more secure Nigeria lies in more, not less, communication to accompany the concerted efforts of Nigeria’s citizens in fulsome dialogue toward unity, peace and prosperity.

As Nigeria’s partners, we stand ready to assist in achieving these goals.

In Memory of Kudirat Abiola..25 years after by Nigeria’s Soldiers of Fortune by Max Siollun.

“Around 9.30am on Tuesday June 4 1996, Kudirat left her home in Lagos for an appointment at the Canadian High Commission in the company of her personal assistant, Mark Olufemi Adesina and her driver , Dauda Atanda.

Àdesina sat in the front passenger seat beside Atanda, while Kudirat sat in the back. As Atanda manoeuvred Kudirat’s white Mercedes-Benz on the Lagos Ibadan Express way past the 7-up Junction on Oregun Road In Ikeja, two Peugeot’s, one a 505 and the other a 504 approached them. One of the cars swerved twice in front of Kudirat’s car ,forcing Atanda to slow down.. Several gunmen then opened fire with machine gun at close range.

The hail of gunfire smashed the windshield and back window of Kudirat’s car and forced it off the road. Adesina instinctively fell to the floor as shards of broken glass and spent ammunition rained down on top of him. Despite the bursts of gunfire Adesina survived.

One of the bullets hit Kudirat’s forehead and lodged in her brain.

She was later taken to Èkó Hospital, where she was operated on by a team of Neurosurgeon who removed the bullet from her head. She died between 12.15 and 12.30pm.
