APC Very Corrupt, Lacks Leadership Capacity, Says Atiku

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar says Nigeria is on the edge of precipice as the country is going through the most trying and difficult period of its existence.

He said this on Saturday during the 2021 elective National Convention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at Eagle Square, Abuja.

The Wazirin Adamawa, therefore, appealed to party members and all Nigerians to shun past differences, set aside political machinations and scheming and wrestle power from the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He said the APC had “comprehensively” failed Nigerians for the past six years but there is still an opportunity to set the ship on the right course by atoning for the mistake of past leadership and uniting the country on the part towards greatness.

He said: “I can tell you that I am 70 years plus but I have never seen this country in such a very bad shape, so disunited, so much unemployment, so much insecurity in its history.

“The social and security challenges in all corners along with the lingering tension surrounding the very nature of our corporate existence as a nation, Nigeria is at the edge of precipice because of the lackluster performance and complacency successive administrations in culminating in the gross failure of this APC-led government.

“The APC has proven itself to be unequip to lead the nation. They have shown themselves to be corrupt, in fact, the most corrupt, sectional and divisive party that was never prepared to lead this country. If we had the idea of what it took to lead a diverse, multiethnic and multi-religious country like Nigeria.

“The responsibility therefore is for us to arrest the downward spiral of the Nigerian nation and save the country from even greater calamities. This is our collective responsibility.”

Atiku added: “We must set aside our differences. We must bring forth our brightest lights and position themselves to rescue, restore and rebuild the foundation.

“This time is a critical juncture for us politicians to work together to return Nigerians on the part of growth and development.

“The unity of key players in the PDP is an extension of the unity of Nigerians. I believe we should return and focus the party on part of competence.
“The decisions we take today will determine the future of trajectory of our party and our beloveth party. We can’t afford to fail and we will not fail. We all put out hands together with sincerity of purpose rescue our great country, Nigeria.”

Minister of Defence, Maj. Gen. Bashir Magashi (Rtd), has said that the need to follow due process was responsible for the delay in declaring bandits as terrorists.

Magashi, who stated this on Friday, in Maiduguri, while fielding questions from newsmen, added that there was a procedure that needed to be observed before such a declaration.

“We are not declaring them terrorists because there is a procedure for doing that.

“When the procedure is followed, they will be classified as terrorists. We are waiting for the procedure to be completed,” NAN quoted him as saying.

Magashi who was in Maiduguri with the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Lucky Irabor and Service Chiefs on an assessment visit of the fight against insurgency in the North east, expressed satisfaction with the successes so far recorded.

She’s popularly known as Lady K, but I call her Moremi- Ifadare

She was at Igboho’s house, streaming live, when Oloye Adeyemo Igboho’s house was invaded by the terrorist agents from the Fraudgerian Department of State.

Had Lady K not been streaming live that ugly day, the DSS agents would have assassinated everybody at Igboho’s house, burned the house down and made it look like it’s the work of unknown gunmen. Thanks to Eedua, Lady K’s camera was rolling live and; thus, captured their evil plan—the DSS operation failed woefully.

All the same, Lady K and 11 others were captured at Igboho’s house and detained by the DDS agents in Abuja. Having spent nearly 4 months in detention, Lady K was freed earlier, today.

Lady K is our hero.

No going back on Yoruba nation, Ifadare say’s.

Bandits Tell Soldiers To Vacate Plateau Community Ahead Of Planned Attack

Gunmen have asked troops of the Nigerian army to vacate their post around a village in Miango, Bassa LGA, Plateau state.

A company of soldiers was recently deployed to the area, following reported attacks on the villagers by gunmen.

The troops, working under the army’s operation Safe Haven (OPSH), had in the past two months stopped the attackers from invading the villagers.

Insiders knowledgeable about the operation told TheCable that the attackers had written to the villages, asking them to inform the troops to leave their location as they planned to attack the community.

“We strategically put our troops in a border area between the village and the mountains from which their attackers come from,” one of the sources said.

“Many times, they have tried to jump on the village but they were stopped by the troops in heavy crossfires. In the past one month, we’ve had gunfights with them and lost two of our soldiers.

“Just a few days ago, the villagers brought a note from the attackers, asking the troops to leave that location so that they could attack. In fact, they threatened that if our soldiers didn’t leave, they would be the first to be attacked.”

Military sources said the development had already been communicated to the operation’s headquarters.

Igbo lawyers filed to join suit for South East exit from Nigeria

A group of elders and politicians from the North led by Nastura Shariff, Balarabe Rufai, Abdul-Aziz Sulaiman and Aminu Adam had, last June, filled a suit asking the court to compel the Senate President and Speaker of the House of Representatives to hasten the exit of the South East from Nigeria before concluding the amendment to the country’s constitution. It was one of the three prayers in a suit marked FHC/ABJ/CS/538/2021. They averred, in a supporting affidavit, that their action was informed by the need to stem the tide of violence and destruction occasioned by the agitation for secession championed by the Kanu-led IPOB. The plaintiffs said they did not want a repeat of the 1967 to 1970 civil war in Nigeria that cost the nation lives and property that ran into billions of naira.

Lawyers of Igbo extraction have applied to the Federal High Court in Abuja to join as defendants in a suit filed by a group of Northern Elders praying for exit of the South East region from Nigeria based on the agitations of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

The legal practitioners, led by Chief Chuks Muoma (SAN), Ukpai Ukairo, Ebere Uzoatu and Obi Emuka, are asking an order of the court to allow them join in the suit as representatives of the people of the South East region. In their application for joinder filed by Victor Onweremadu, the lawyers claimed that the Northern elders’ case seeking the exit of South East from Nigeria could shape the life of Igbo people. The motion on notice for the joinder request was brought pursuant to Order 9 Rule 5 and Order 26 Rule 2 of the Federal High Court Civil Procedure Rule 2019.

Listed as defendants in the suit are the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), the Senate President, the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly.

Though the Igbo are not joined in the suit, the Igbo lawyers claim that they have interest to protect in the suit; hence, their request to be made a set of defendants in the case. Meanwhile, Justice Inyang Ekwo fixed November 1 for hearing on the suit.

Malami and The Outdated Politics of Divide and Conquer by Written by Emeka Gift.

Malami and The Outdated Politics of Divide and Conquer by Written by Emeka Gift.

The Nigerian Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, remains a kindergarten in contemporary politics. How really on earth did this man actually get to the position he presently occupies, is disappointedly embarrassing on justice related issues evolving in the country, against the indigenous people.

His shameful antecedents and politics of divide and conquer against a well-informed people of Biafra and Oduduwa, can be best described as outdated politics of 1960s. Abubakar Malami needs a holistic upgrade in his chosen profession. He has to humbly stay updated on the intricacies and intrigues involved in today’s politics. For a Nigerian Federal Justice Minister and Attorney General to be shamelessly saying that the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), invaded the palace of a Yoruba traditional ruler during the 2020 Nationwide EndSars Protest, is most callous, childish and very outdated tricks of 60s.

What does this man really take this generation for? Uninformed lots? This statement forms part of the outdated tricks these opportunists adapted in the nineteen sixties which worked in their favor. They should however, note that this generation is very far ahead of them and are digitally inclined. Both Biafrans and Oduduwas have since, exceeded this stage of crudity that the Fulanis’ driven “divide and rule” system that the British bequeathed to them. The Oduduwa and the Biafra people are undoubtedly, more united now than ever.

Abubakar Malami should be clearly told in case he has really lost sight of reality, despite his acclaimed position, that his pitiably petty craftiness of divide and rule tactics are bound to hit the rocks in the current dispensation. It may have worked for them in times past against the Igbos and their brothers/sisters in the coastal region but not now anymore. Today, the Igbos are working so hard to erase that divisive syndrome and enmity the Fulani oligarchs installed between the South-East region and its own people in the South-South region. By the grace of God, that barrier of the evil seed of hatred, will be thing of the past.

The Oduduwa and Biafra people are today, wiser and cannot fall for the Fulani led Nigerian government’s analog trap of divide and rule politics. The Attorney General should be tutored in the very art intelligent politicking and fully acquaint himself with the knowledge that he is dealing with sophisticated generation of brilliant brains. This his adventure is self-defeatist, it will most assuredly be his waterloo, alongside his masters. This is new generation with smartphone ,that old tricks won’t work with us.

God bless Biafra Nation
God bless Oduduwa Nation.

We’re Trying Our Best To Secure Sunday Igboho Release_Ooni of Ife” Says God will Stay With Him

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has prayed that God will see the embattled Yoruba nation agitator, Chief Sunday Adeyemo (a.k.a. Sunday Igboho), through is present ordeal.

Ooni, in an interview with BBC Yoruba stated that those agitating for Yoruba Nation had their cause within their level of understanding and they gave an option of either dialogue or breaking away.

He said: “Like I have always told the government, they should have called the agitators for a dialogue

“God will stay with Sunday Igboho, he grew up in Ife, all that he has become today, started from Ife. Ife and Modakeke all belong to Ife land. He is a son of the soil.

“But how he started, he wanted to fight for his kinsmen where he came from. He stood up and fought for those killed in Oke Ogun. We thank God for preserving his life. He tried his best but when he started receiving different advice from people, it overwhelmed him.

I visited President Muhammadu Buhari on his case and we discussed it. I told him that Igboho is our son, he advised us to warn him to stay calm and exercise patience but Igboho did not listen.

“Many people advised him wrongly. He listened to them. He started abusing everyone, including monarchs.

“After I left President Buhari’s place, I called on monarchs and elders of Yoruba land for a meeting to advise Igboho to exercise patience but he got carried away by the praises of those who were not even solidly behind him.

“He hurled so many bad words but he is still our son. God owns forgiveness. We’ve forgiven him. If he had listened, he wouldn’t have found himself in his current travail.

“We are trying our best to secure his release. Who can fight with the government? You’ve to be smart and use your senses to get your rights from the government, not by shouting.
