‘The demolition of my father’s house by the Kwara state government is politics taken too far…’

The property (Ile Arugbo’) in ilorin belong to my late dad, Olusola Saraki. Demolishing the property by thr the Kwara state government on Thursday, January 2nd is a politic taken too far. This is not good enough.

The old people’s home, that is popularly known as Ile Arugbo in Kwars state. The property of late Olusola Saraki, the late father of former Senate president, Bukola Saraki, has been demolished today , 2nd of January 2020 and the land has been taken over by the Kwara state government.

I made my 6 years old son to walk in the shoes of the less priviledged- Toyin Lawani

For my son’s 6th Birthday shoot, I made him walk in the shoes of the less~priviledged for a day.
We sold fruits to people and hawked in traffic, few people recognized us but didn’t care.
He didn’t stop asking me questions when we got home.


Anytime we drive past kids and I give them money, he’s always saying why this, why that. Now he understands.

For those of us with pot bellies, blessed with abundance of jellies, observing table is not our thing.

There are others unlike us, with flattened
Tummies tossed to and fro hunger-driven, beaten by the reality of our lack.

For those of us unlike them, born with silver spoons shouldn’t forget that circumstances and predicaments are cousins, we must teach our kids never to look down on anyone because they are more privileged. As Parents, we should teach our kids how to accommodate others with love.

Pastor Sam Adeyemi reacts to Dr Olukoya Christmas Condemnation.

Senior Pastor of Daystar Christian Centre, Pastor Sam Adeyemi, has reacted to Dr Daniel Olukoya’s claims that Christmas is not biblical and therefore shouldn’t be celebrated.

The General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries has come under serious criticisms from Nigerians as well as some clerics since he made the statement in a church service, which coincided with the 2019 Christmas celebration.

Reacting to Dr Daniel Olukoya’s claims, Pastor Sam Adeyemi stated how countries that brought Christianity to Nigeria even celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ with uninterrupted power supply, while Nigerians are still debating on whether it’s right or not to celebrate Christmas.

“The countries from where they brought Christianity to Nigeria celebrated Christmas with uninterrupted power supply. Some of us were quarelling over whether eating Christmas chicken will make us go to heaven or not. Sense will “fall on us” one day. I pray it won’t be long,” Sam Adeyemi wrote on Twitter.

“I heard Aliko Dangote say that Egypt added 10,000 MW of electricity generation in 18 months. Nigeria has hardly added 2000 MW in 20 years despite spending more money. Instead, we have air polution and noise polution from generators, or darkness. Shouldn’t we be discussing this?”

The President Trump of the United States of America has signed a bill into law that prohibits the sale of tobacco products to anyone under the age of 21.

The new law which takes effect from 2020 stated that it will be a violation of federal law to sell tobacco to people under age 21. Hallelujah.

I can’t love Trump less. God be with you Mr president.

  8. The money-monger- those who can do anything to get money including selling you out to the highest bidder, DELETE THEM!
