One of the leading stars in The New Masquerade, a television drama series now rested, Mrs. Lizzy Lizzy Ovueme, popularly known as Ovuleria, who was reported on social media and some online publications to have passed on is hale and hearty.
She spoke with The Nation on phone from her Port Harcourt home indicating she is alive. Though she did not speak much on phone, her voice sounded clear and sharp.

The Academy (Oscar) has disqualified Nigeria’s “Lionheart” directed by Genevieve Nnaji from the Oscar race in the Best International Feature Film category, for violating an Academy rule that entries in the category must have “a predominantly non-English dialogue track.”

Listening to wrong messages and songs destroys zeals and passions to pursue your God-given visions and calling.
Many messages of some ministers today, do not encourage our youths to patiently follow the Lord, but rather, they are stirred and prodded to pursue whatever they desire vigorously and get it at all cost.
So the Scriptural admonition to run our race that is set before us with patience is missing. Messages and teachings that fuel the embers of greediness and covetousness.
WOE to any man or woman of God who merchandises the anointing for filthy lucre! Who enriches himself on the sweat and blood of the people he or she is called to serve; who feeds on the flesh of the sheep he or she is called to shepherd; who makes the truth of God’s word seem like a lie; who treats the grace and mercy of our God like a vain thing and continues to light strange fire in the camp.

We shall be made ready for the Groom, totally purified, sanctified, without spot or blemish. Let the fear of the Lord reign among God’s people! Let it be so! We can still not explain the Manifestations of His goodness and overshadowing of His Power and grace at the Events that included the Engagement, Wedding Ceremony and the Reception.

Chief Superintendent of Police, Dolapo Badmus has weighed in on Naira Marley’s controversial statement that “having big booty is better than having a Masters degree”.
Reacting to it, CSP Dolapo Badmus wrote:
So having a big body part is now better than having Educational or vocational qualifications?(like seriously?) I still cant get over this! I’m saying it again, we need to restore sanity to our system and stop tolerating public nuisance!
Its mediocracy for anyone to applaud an obviously delinquent and unproductive dead duck (deemed a bad influence) hiding under the guise of making music, obnoxious music for that matter.
My advice to younger ones: let no one confuse you. To have a good body part is great…….but to have educational or vocational qualification is more important! Infact its non negotiable! Your body part cannot give you sustainable existence only good educational or vocational qualification will do…be guided
My take on this issue is. One man food is another man’s poison. The reason behind Naira-mally’s theory and Dolapo’s theory is best known to them.
