Why do we love negativity? Ooni of Ile Ife wife, Olori Shilekunola Naomi Ogunwusi speaks on marriage Crash

Olori Prophetess Naomi Adeyeye has shot down rumours that her marriage to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has crashed.

There have been reports online that she has packed out of the monarch’s house following some marital crisis.

On Monday evening, she took to her Instagram page to set the record straight.

Read her press statement below:

“There have been strange rumours and unfounded news making rounds on social media in recent times.I want all believers of good news to know that, it is all lies and a picture of how the peddlers of the evil news would have loved our love story to turn out.

The king of Ife Kingdom with his wife Naomi

I would have loved to maintain silence, however, due to concerns being expressed by well meaning people something has to be said.

Now, the gospel truth is that I have been busy with ministry off the social media space and you’d all agree with me that with the ongoing pandemic which suddenly sprung up on all of us, only means more work needs to be done.

Ooni of Ile Ife with Wife

I can’t sit still (as nobody privileged enough should) and this isn’t a time for social media presence but a time that calls for solemnity. Hence my break from what people now call normal.

Finally, as duty will have me do, I have been in and out of the palace doing Gods bidding. With all being said, I am compelled to ask the following questions :

Why can’t people verify that which is the truth ?

Why do people believe more in falsehood and negativity?

Well, the bible has something to say about them in Psalm 2:1-12. Now i say to you all, please disregard and jettison every fake and malicious news about me and my husband (Ooni Adeyeye Babatunde Enitan Ogunwusi) for ours is a love no earthly force is strong enough to break,we are very fine and healthy.

I will leave you with this “please be comforted and know that boredom is a killer and people do unimaginable things when they are” Peace and love always.”

I was Declared COVID-19 Positive Without Test Results-Dokpesi junior

The chairman of DAAR Communications Plc, Raymond Dokpesi jnr, has finally tested negative for COVID-19 almost three weeks after he was confirmed positive for the dreaded disease.

The Junior Dopkesi has also been discharged hours after Raymond Dokpesi Snr, his father and founder of DAAR Communications, and his two children were discharged from the University of Abuja isolation centre.

While expressing gratitude to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and medical team at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital where he was treated, he also revealed that he was declared positive without any medical document to show him his status.

Dokpesi Junior

He went on to plead that all his medical document records and those of his family members be made available and handed over to them.

Sharing his experience in a message on Friday morning, Dokpesi Jnr wrote: “My sojourn at the Gwagwalada isolation centre was an eye-opening experience which imbued me with confidence in the unabated enthusiasm and commitment of Nigerian public health workers to serve and ensure the welfare of each of their patients.

“It was also an exposé into the practical limitations of the system in ensuring even with best intentions that public health objectives in the face of COVID-19 are achieved and sustained.

“With praise and glory to Almighty God, I started feeling immediate improvement in my wellbeing once the combination of azithromycin, chloroquine and zinc were administered to me by Wednesday, 29th April, 2020. My senses of smell and taste which were lost since the time I arrived at the facility were restored by Friday, 1st May, 2020. All my vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse and oxygen saturation improved and have consistently shown excellent readings since. The oxygen machine which was brought to my room became redundant.”

But he expressed disappointment that he was not given any documentary evidence of his status, and that he had to take it in good faith that he was COVID-19 positive as pronounced by the NCDC.

“Whilst I can attest to my improvement in physical health and wellbeing, I regret to say that since my initial test to date, I have never seen any documentary evidence of any test result,” he stated.

“I take it in trust and good faith that the NCDC pronounced me COVID-19 positive and that they have now also pronounced me COVID-negative. I will appreciate it if the documentary records of the various tests on me and members of my family are made available for our medical records.

“Unless a spotlight is beamed on our testing facilities, capacity and documentation there is an immediate risk that patients will lose confidence in the statements of public healthcare providers, but more significantly, we will fail to move the needle forward in the battle against COVID-19 itself.”

He also expressed appreciation to members of his family, board management and staff of DAAR Communications Plc, and other well-meaning persons, “who prayed, fasted, held vigils and sent messages to me, my family and my known associates”.

“Your love, prayers and well wishes have humbled me and were a source of strength and inspiration to me at the very darkest moments of my life,” he added.

The Medications I Took for my COVID-19 Virus Infections – Doyin Okupe

The medications I took for my covid19 virus infections.

Hydroxychloroquine, 400mg daily for 2days.there after 400mg daily for 3days.

Azithromycin 500mg daily for 10 days.

Zinc sulphate 100mg daily till today

Vitamin C 1200 mg daily till now.

I had malaria while on admission. Was effectively treated with an anti malaria. I also developed cough after about a week and was effectively treated by fairly large dose of Augmentine for 7 days.

I must say that there is no universal medical consensus on a specific treatment regime for covid19. Also most of d drugs being used in different centres worldwide are not backed by any detailed or extensive research work anywhere in the world.. Most scientific works and studies currently going on have limited scientific acceptability either because the samples used are too scanty, sometimes as low as 40 to 60, or because controls do not exists. It will take another 4 to 6 months before results of credible works are available.

However the humongous nature of the global emergency make it impossible for countries not to explore experimental drugs that show any possibility or potential to contain the virus.

In my own case I commenced treatment with the hydroxychloroquine regime 4 days to my isolation. This us because I read extensively on various options of treatment for covid 19 and I follow the global debate on its pros & cons of d treatment. With my medical background and local consultation with colleagues I already made up my mind that the chloroquine regime was so far the most promising. I ordered for the drugs just in case someone close or even I should unfortunately pick up the virus.

I MUST WARN HERE THAT IF UU HV CARDIAC ARRHYTHMIAS , U WILL NEED TO CONSULT YR PHYSICIAN BEFORE U TAKE HYDROXYCHLOROQUINE. I DID. so I was advised to use 200mg twice daily instead of 400mg twice daily for 2days.

After I put my wife and I on the treatment my low grade fever disappeared completely and my wife’s bone pains too. Personally I blv the combination works. Lagos uses anti viral drugs and they also get good results. However the scientific truth we know about treatment for viral infection is that ultimately what eventually works is the innate capability of the immune system of individual patients. It is the immunity level that eventually decide the course of the infection in each individual. That is why age and ore existing comobidity factors are crucial to survival and wellbeing.

Hence for those who are not sick, you should ingest immune boosting drugs and preparations . Like zinc SULPHATE, immunace, RELOAD and similar immunity enhancing drugs.

I also took copious amount of ginger, garlic, tumeric and lemon. In kaduna I am told that they add dongoyaro leaves to the above mixture and drink liberally.

As a tip also, it is known that when the virus first gain access to the body it stays in the nasal cavity and the throat for 2 to 3days. In this position the virus itself is vulnerable. It does naturally in temperatures above 35 degrees Celsius. If at this stage u can consume large quantities of hot water wt lemon u can abort the attack.

My Advice

Pursue personal safety at whatever cost. Stay at home. Dont visit and dont recieve visitors. Check drivers maids and aides. Since its may be difficult to gauge their compliance, either reduce to the barest minimum or do without. Those that must stay must be made to be resident and movements restricted.

.maintain physical distancing if u must ho out. Comply wt the hygiene protocols as recommended by NCDC.

Fortify yrself daily wt immune boosters.

At the slightest sign of trouble, fever, catarrh and or cough get help instant.

I hope someone finds this piece useful.
