The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has dismissed claims that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo betrayed Bola Tinubu, National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, by declaring for the Presidency. He said: ‘’Don’t blame Yemi Osinbajo for Tinubu’s political crisis, he has not realized it, he will later, they will keep him off the track completely.
Tinubu is facing all of these because he also betrayed some people, the law of Karma is simply playing out. Osinbajo never betrayed Tinubu, He has done worse than these to people so I wonder what brought about the wailings.’Tinubu has made people cry, he is just facing the same ordeal he put people through but unfortunately, instead of asking him to retrace his steps, his followers are deceiving him. God has given him Lagos but if he isn’t careful, he will lose the state and that will be worse.
’He has not seen anything, he better not put too much strength on the presidency rather he should return to Lagos if not, they will still betray him in Lagos. A local politician, state politician and federal politician will betray him, this is nemesis fighting Tinubu and it’s only God that can cancel it, he has not seen anything yet.’’
The Minister of transportation, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi said if elected the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential flag bearer and president of Nigeria in the general election, he would bring his wealth of experience to bear in securing the country, and advancing the economy.
Amaechi stated this when he paid a courtesy visit to the Katsina State governor Aminu Bello Masari at the Katsina State Government House. The minister, who is one of the presidential aspirants in the ruling APC said having been in public office for over two decades, he possessed the requisite knowledge and technical know-how to tackle insecurity and provide better governance for Nigerians.
“I think I am qualified, and I happen to be the only aspirant in the race who governed a state where there was militancy. So, I have experience of how to manage militancy”.
More facts have emerged on why members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who are loyalists of Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed defected to the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Kwara state.
The former APC members who are at loggerheads with Kwara state governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazq said the emergence of Senator Abdullahi Adamu as the national chairman of the APC influenced their decision to call it quit with the party.
Alhaji Lawal Shehu, a chieftain of the party said they strongly believed that they cannot get justice in the APC since Adamu, who was the chairman of the party’s reconciliation committee is now the national chairman. When asked whether they got the blessing of Lai Mohammed to leave the APC for SDP, he said the Minister appealed to them not to dump the party as the whole issue will be sorted out before the election but they can’t wait because the election is just few months away.
The former president, who admitted that the problem of the country emanated from bad leadership, argued that youths cannot afford the N40 million nomination form as claimed by the aspirants.
He said, “Today, they are paying N40m. Some of them (aspirants) even said it is some youths who bought it for them.
“In fact, anybody who would come out to tell you such a lie, you shouldn’t vote for him. Which youths gathered N40m? If you want to buy it, buy it and tell us. You don’t need to lie to us.”

Fellow Nigerians, a few moments ago, I met with President Muhammadu Buhari. I informed him that I wanted to succeed him as the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Though it is not my life-long ambition, it has become imperative that to rescue Nigeria, we need someone to build on the achievements of President Buhari. I have looked around; I do not see anyone better suited to carry on that solemn assignment than my humble self.
As a great father of the nation, which Buhari is, he wished me well.
I took this bold step after a wide-ranging consultation with Nigerians of various ethnic, religious, and economic hues. I listened to market women and men, I sat down with the young and old, I heard from students and intellectuals, I broke bread with the unemployed and the underemployed, I accepted the counsel of traditional rulers and kingmakers across Nigeria, and more importantly, I weighed in the opinion of my wife and children. All the signals that I got were positive. Go PYO.
Unlike all those who want to rule you as their subjects, I offer myself to serve our great country, Nigeria, with utmost humility. Growing up in Lagos, I did not know that I would be where I am today – one heartbeat away from the presidency of this great country. Having been here, having seen all parts of Nigeria from a close range, having worked beside a great but humble leader, President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, for almost seven years now, having interacted with leaders at federal, state, and local government levels, I have a burning desire in me to continue with Buhari’s master-plan for Nigeria.
The master plan may not be clear to some of you, my compatriots, but there is a master plan coming together. The worldwide economic downturn, COVID-19 pandemic, and decades of lack of investments in Nigerian infrastructure may have blurred what President Buhari has achieved. But trust me, he has taken Nigeria to a new height. Though you may not feel it, you may not honestly say that you are better off today than you were in 2015, but believe me, in things that matter most, values and sincere leadership, our country is in a better place.
My fellow Nigerians, trust me when I say that no matter how dark it looks, we are on the right path. The temporary disruptions that we see today, the blurriness caused by the dust in the air should not blind us to the long time gains of our investments of this day. I share in your pains of this day of cultivation. Inshallah, we shall all smile soon as harvest time comes.
The Nigeria of 2015 was an active erosion site, swallowing homes, roads, and farmlands. What we have done is to channel the floodwater away from the site. Though the gullies are still collapsing and expanding at some places, fundamentally, we have plucked the remote causes. I seek the presidency to begin the next level of the project, which is to fill up the gullies, recover our once lost land and begin reconstruction. In my time as president, you will see mansions rising in our fatherland once overrun by ugly gullies.
I have looked around the field of those aspiring to be president. Though they may be honorable men and women in their own right, none of them has what it takes to complete the job that President Buhari started. This is not the time to bring in people who were not there when the corpse was buried and have them start digging from the legs.
Those of you who watched with amazement what I accomplished in those few days that President Buhari handed power to me can attest that if I get only four years to be the steward of this great nation, I will turn Nigeria into what Ronald Reagan called “a shining city on a hill.”
As we know, some people are born corrupt. Some people have corruption swimming all around them. I am clothed in a bright gown of integrity. Integrity is modest, integrity is humble and integrity never fails to accomplish and excel. I never have and will never steal from the Nigerian people. Those who steal are greedy. Period. They never change. Please do not believe them when they say they are born-again.
I am vast in the rudiments of nation-building and sustainable economic growth. When I come into my own as president, that skill set will make all the difference. It helps that more than all the pretenders in the political arena, I am hardworking, I am committed to my stated goals and I am determined to rise above all my enemies and my competitors. My vision for Nigeria is clear and simple. I want Nigeria that is great but just, prosperous but fair and progressive but united. Justice, fairness and unity are very close to my heart.
I have never cheated to be where I am in life. We are where we are as a nation because we have allowed some people to cheat and steal their ways to what we call success. I made myself what I am today by converting challenges into opportunities. That is the philosophy that I will bring to my presidency. I will deploy this philosophy to lure back our compatriots who have lost faith in the Nigerian project. They will give Nigeria a second chance when they see my sincerity of purpose.
I understand the internal factors dragging down the economy of Nigeria. I have the foreign and nationwide connections that I need to speed up the economic renaissance of our nation. When it comes to security concerns, I will take decisive actions to quell the lingering security problems across Nigeria. As someone close to the beaming youth of this nation, I know how to inspire them to deploy their restless energy into productive ventures. I have done it on tiny scales in line with my limited portfolio as vice president. As president, I will multiply my effort by 100 million folds.
Those who know me well will tell you that I am like water. I have no enemy. I will carry every part of the country along in the journey of Nigeria’s emancipation. Yes, that is what PYO stands for – total and final emancipation of Nigeria. We are all children of God, and the God that I serve does not discriminate. I firmly believe that what is good for my children must be extended to the children of the lowest citizens of our country.
I believe now is the time to reverse this current system where we leave a great majority of our people to wait for crumbs to trickle down to them from the table of the rich and mighty. When I am president, I will ensure that the least amongst us have the first choice before the mighty. Having run “TraderMoni” and a school feeding program, having worked with young entrepreneurs starting a business, I know the potential in them. I will not let that potential go to waste anymore.
I know what most of you are waiting to hear. What about my great friend and benefactor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (aka BAT)? As you all know, I have tremendous respect for Asiwaju, Jagaban Borgu. But in matters of the fate of 200 million Nigerians, we cannot afford to let emotions rule us. The situation of Nigeria today is so critical. We need a healthy, vibrant, and untainted leader to handle the situation, now that we still can.
The same goes for other aspirants from all the other political parties. We have no room to play around anymore. We have no space for people who will learn on the job. We have no patience for those carrying a truckload of toxic baggage. The urgency of our situation is palpable.
For this and other reasons, I offer myself to serve our great nation by declaring my interest in running for president. It will be the greatest honor of my life to serve you all.
May God bless you all. And may God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Anambra State Governor, Prof. Charles Soludo on Tuesday said his predecessor, Willie Obiano left a paltry N300 million in the state’s treasury.
He also said the former governor left for him debts running into hundreds of billions of naira to grapple with.
“In terms of debt I inherited, it runs into hundreds of billions of Naira. In terms of cash, we met about 300 million Naira only. In fact let’s not talk about it. Our treasury is funny. But I hope we shall make money henceforth to help us fulfill our promises for infrastructure and development of the state. But in terms of what I met in our coffers, my brother, it’s pathetic. Please let us not go there. God will help us.
Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu will this weekend kick-off his declaration for a second term at the national convention of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja.
A prominent member of the Governors Advisory Council (GAC) who is also one of the apex leaders of APC in Lagos state made this statement on Sunday that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, former Lagos state governor had endorsed Sanwo-Olu for a second term and had instructed the party leaders to work for his reelection.
“Sanwo-Olu is coming back. I can authoritatively confirm that to you. He is likely to declare and will kick off his re-election campaign this weekend at Eagles Square, the venue of the national convention of the APC on March 26 in Abuja” .
“The governor has performed creditably well in all areas since coming to office in 2019. As a technocrat, he focused on his job as governor and allowed political leaders who ensured his emergence to run the political affairs of the state. This endeared him to many of us and we believe he should be allowed to continue the good works he started” he said.
Wife of late Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, Bianca, has explained why she slapped immediate past Anambra First Lady, Ebele Obiano on Thursday afternoon in Awka, the Anambra State capital.
The two women had engaged in a public fight at the inauguration ceremony of Governor Charles Soludo, an incident that momentarily disrupted the swearing-in ceremony.
Setting the records straight on Friday, Mrs. Ojukwu said she slapped Ebele Obiano to defend herself after the wife of the former Governor attempted to remove her headgear in public.
The former Ambassador to Spain explained that she ignored several provocative verbal and physical assaults from the former first lady who she alleged was intoxicated by alcohol.
Mrs Ojukwu, who’s also a member of Board of Trustees (BOT), All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) wrote: “As the inaugural ceremonies for Prof Charles Soludo and his deputy began and all guests were seated, the Former First Lady of Anambra State, Mrs Ebele Obiano, was noticeably absent. She then arrived some one-and-a-half hours later while the ceremony was on. I didn’t pay any particular attention to her arrival.
“Surprisingly, she then walked towards me and I thought she was coming to greet me. Instead, when she got to where I was seated, she verbally attacked me with her voice raised, taunting me and asking me what I was there to do and using unprintable vile language.
“She asked if I had come to celebrate their last day in office. But I ignored her completely. Then, she kept aggressively putting her hands on my shoulders and shouting. While I ignored her verbal onslaught, as advised by those sitting around me, I requested twice that she refrained from touching me with her hands.
“She proceeded to do so yet again and went further to grab at my headtie, which she attempted unsuccessfully to remove. This very act is considered a sacrilege to a titled matriarch such as myself in Igbo culture.
“It was at this point that I stood up to defend myself and gave her a dirty slap to stop her from attacking me. As she made it towards me, I then pulled away from her wig”.
Trouble started on Sunday the 16th of November, 2014, after the dedication of the child of the Anglican Bishop of Awka, His Lordship Most Rev. Dr. Ibezim at the cathedral of St. Faith, Awka.
The wife of the deputy Governor complained to the wife of Dr. Alex Ekwueme, being a mother of all, on how Ebere Obiano does not carry her along in whatever she does.
Desirous of brokering peace, Ekwueme’s Wife, Beatrice got audience with Mrs Obiano where she advised her on the need to carry everybody along, especially the wife of the deputy Governor.
At this point, Mrs Obiano flayed and claimed that the constitution recognizes her and not the Wife of the Deputy.
Immediately her Deputy shouted back, Mrs Obiano slapped her.
It took the intervention of security men to prevent the duo from physical fight.
In the quarrel, the wife of the Deputy Governor told her that she cannot kill her as she killed her maid, nor slap her as she usually slaps drivers.
As the exchange of foul words continued, Sir Victor Umeh took the deputy governor who was there away as he felt completely dejected.
Another story :
Three months ago, another story leaked of how the Mrs. Obiano engaged in an open quarrel with a member of the House of Representatives from the state, Uche Ekwunife.
If not for the intervention of the First Lady, Dr. Patience Goodluck, the member representing Anaocha, Dunukofia and Njikoka Federal Constituency of Anambra State, Hon Uche Ekwunife would have been attacked by the Wife of Anambra State Governor, Mrs Ebele Obiano in faraway Poland.
Both women were on the entourage of the First Lady to Poland.
Trouble started when on arrival with the First Lady, who was accompanied by Uche Ekwunife, Bola Shagaya and others, Ebele Obiano who was among those at the airport to receive the First Lady greeted every other person except Uche Ekwunife.
Later in the day, when Ebere Obiano came to see the First Lady, according to source with the First Lady, she again greeted everybody except Uche Ekwunife.
Those who had noticed the trend asked her why the childishness, pointing at Uche, she said, ”I do not greet prostitutes” to the astonishment of all those around.
Uche Ekwunife did not talk, according to our source, until Ebele Obiano told her that she will deal with her and make sure she crumbles all her businesses in Awka.
Enraged, Uche said, “I will not trade words with you. That you killed your husband’s first wife for him to marry you does not mean you can deal with other women. (Ebere Obiano use to be the secretary to Obiano until he lost the wife and married her); That you are dealing with your alcoholic husband does not mean you can deal with me.” Ekwunife said to Ebele Obiano.
Confused, Ebele Obiano said, “My husband drinks champagne not alcohol.” This provided a comic relief that set everybody laughing.
About to go physical, Dame Patience Jonathan intervened, joined by other women.
They lambasted Obiano’s wife for lack of manners and morals.
Patience Jonathan said, “Instead of you to go to Margaret Obi to teach you how to be a First Lady, I heard you no longer talk to her. This your behaviour today has confirmed all that is said about you. Please, if this is how you behave, never join me on any trip again, both within and outside the country.”
A clash between the supporters of two governorship aspirants on Saturday disrupted a political ceremony in Kano State.
Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje had inaugurated the executive committee of the All Progressives Congress in Rano local government area, a ceremony which left four persons dead and many others injured.
