Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has requested that her fans pray for her.
In a post on her Instagram page on Thursday, the actress revealed that heart was heavy.
The actress went on to say that she is not ashamed to admit that she needs her fans at the moment and begged them to pray for her.
She wrote, “I don’t ask for nothing at all. Not ashamed to say I need you all. If you have got a minute, say a quiet prayer for me. (My heart is so heavy.) Thanks.”

Today is the birthday of the Great Iroko of our time, the “Lion from the East”, a symbol of strength and courage, our one and only indefatigable Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, ofu onye anasi unu abiala.
Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu could best be described as a visionary leader who believes in the emancipation of a race unjustly impoverished over the years in a nation that has since lost the essence of its existence. He is a fierce and fearless leader, who stands up against oppression, injustice and reckless massacre of the people of his tribe, whom he cannot trade for anything in this world.
As you are all aware, Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was abducted in Kenya, and forcefully renditioned to Nigeria, and has been incarcerated in the dungeon of Nigeria’s Department of State Services (DSS), Abuja for over 14 months now. Is he broken and/or given up hope? The answer is no! Even with his ailing health, Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu remains firm in his convictions, while his dogged legal team is assiduously working towards his unconditional release, which is sacrosanct.
We seize this opportunity of Onyendu’s birthday to thank this selfless man, for boldly accepting the huge responsibilities on his shoulders of emancipating his beloved people from their tyrant oppressors to the impairment of his freedom and separation from his family and comfort. The life of Onyendu is simply an inspiration and posterity will forever be kind to him.
An astute intellect indeed! Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is the “man who saw tomorrow”. As you all can testify to, most, if not all of Onyendu’s predictions eventually came to pass… His guidance and direction were truly inspirational and such a blessing to everyone who crossed his path.

A couple on Thursday got married in a hospital in Lagos State.
This was revealed by the hospital via their Instagram account on Thursday.
Sharing photos, the hospital said, “We had our very first wedding Congrats to the newly wed couple on this milestone event and we wish them eternal love and marital bliss.”
Anambra state has banned the wearing of mini-length uniforms in schools across the state.
The Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ngozi Chuma – Udeh made this known during an interactive meeting with Education Secretaries of public and mission schools held at ASUBEB hall, Awka.
The Commissioner condemned the growing trend of putting on mini-length uniforms in schools, saying it goes against the acceptable dress code for schools in the state.
According to the Commissioner, a student should look smart, well-groomed, project positive values and not be indecently dressed for school.
She added that the acceptable length for uniforms in the state remains knee – length and not above -the – knee as is fast becoming the norm.
The Commissioner charged the Education Secretaries to ensure schools comply with the directive and salvage the future of students Anambra.
“You are the foundation. You control the formative years of the children”, Prof. Chuma-Udeh said.
“Let us infuse the right morals and discipline in students so they grow to be rational human beings, showing them there is more to life
If we fail to get it right at this stage, we have failed to protect the future of the children”, she concluded.
The Education Secretaries met with the Commissioner to discuss the way forward as the next academic session commences on the 19th of September, 2022.

Maria Ude Nwachi, a lawmaker representing Afikpo North-East in Ebonyi State House of Assembly has issued a public warning to newlywed gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo and her husband, Pastor BLessed.
The warning is coming after the gospel singer flaunted the brand new car gift she was given by her husband for her birthday earlier this week.
Pastor Blessed had surprised Mercy Chinwo with an SUV as a birthday gift and an excited Mercy Chinwo flaunted the gift on social media and urged her fans to thank him on her behalf; an act that did not sit down well with Maria Ude Nwachi.
Airing her displeasure on the act on Facebook, the lawmaker chided Mercy Chinwo for the “unnecessary show off”
She wrote,
“Mercy Chinwo and hubby, avoid unnecessary show on social media. Don’t invite scrutiny on yourselves. Biko. Clarification: This type of show by a woman of the bible will bring nothing good for her. One investigation into their doing might bust a lot and those hailing them won’t be able to help them out of it. The investigation can come from the source and to find something no dey hard. To make displays that beg to be scrutinized is very very unwise because your subliminal request will surely be answered if you keep it up.
