Iyabo Ojo in big trouble with Sanwo Olu over N38m

Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo is almost at the verge of shutting down her shop over excessive Taxation by Sanwo Olu’s goverment in Lagos State.

The Yoruba actress, who is a single mother of two teenage kids, is crying out to her fans to beg the government to pity her or she might resolve to early retirement. .

Iyabo posted the Tax papers sent to her office on Instagram and captioned it:
” Well! it’s so sad that I may have to finally close down my business soon ….. because I don’t even know how or where to start this negotiation with Lagos State from, I’m still struggling with making profit, after paying rent, salaries, maintenance, electricity, local & state govt taxes in different categories & levy, I hardly make little or no profit …. My fellow Nigerians I have been asked to pay almost 38m for my Personal income tax to Lagos state ALMOST 38M NAIRA ……… Personal income bawo? #Lagosstate how? 2014 – 2017 I was still struggling with my small business in Ikeja like I’m still even doing now, or is it from my acting that we are poorly paid or from where now? pls can someone help me explain how they arrive @ this calculations, almost 38m naira, please you people should kuku sell me, my self & I i dont even know where you want me to get this kind of money from ……. E ma gba mi ke @jidesanwoolu ni bo ni mo ti fe ri iru owo to po to yii? seriously I’m not understanding @ all o, I be single mother with plenty bukata oooo, I’m confused ……….. retiring looks like the next option o ‍ bcos doing business is very frustrating in Nigeria.”

Bank suspended Female staff For Allegedly Having Sex With 200 Clients, Job Seekers

A Twitter user @moses_mq has taken to the micro-blogging platform to share the story of a senior branch executive of Zanaco bank in Zambia, Mutale Winfridah, who was suspended for allegedly having sex with over 200 men with the promise of helping them get a job.

According to the story, she was suspended after more than 10 men lodged a formal complaint claiming that she constantly enjoyed their bed energies with the promise of using her influence as a senior bank executive to get them a job.

Nigerians returnees from South Africa to Receive N40,000 Airtime, 9GB Data For 2 Months – Abike Dabiri-Erewa.

The Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has promised that the Nigerians returning from South Africa will receive sim cards with airtime worth N40,000 and 9GB of valid data for two months.

Mrs Dabiri-Erewa disclosed this on Wednesday in a statement through Gabriel Odu for Media Unit of the Commission, when she received the first batch of 187 Nigerians on-board an Air Peace Flight at the Murtala Muhammed Airport.

She also stated that returnees will receive transport stipend to convey them to their various destinations, as well as a soft loan from the Bank of Industry to support those interested in small trade and businesses.

Mrs Dabiri-Erewa added that a program of reintegration will be put in place subsequently.

A 17-year-old girl identified as Aisha living in Albarkawa area in Gusau metropolis in Zamfara state on Sunday August 8, set her self ablaze owing to her fiance’s inability to marry her due to his poor finances.

Aisha’s neighbour told our correspondent that she decided to commit suicide after she learnt that her fiance who dated her for quite a long time has no money to pay for dowry in preparation for her wedding.
