2 Corinthians 3:4-6
- Such is the confidence that we have through Christ toward God.
- Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God,
- who has made us competent to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
Heavenly Father, thank You that our confidence is not in ourselves but in Christ, as the indwelling Spirit of God transforms us, day by day, into the image and likeness of the Lord Jesus. May we be living epistles that show forth the love of God and the truth of the glorious gospel of grace in all we say and do for Your praise and glory. This I ask in Jesus’ name Amen.
