Kidnappers on the prowl on Admiralty Way, Lekki, Lagos State. Reports indicate several persons abducted about 8pm yesterday night by gunmen #UGM . There have been growing cases of abduction along Ozumba Mbadiwe, Falomo and Admiralty way in recent time.
While many were released after being disposed of their valuables & account emptied, some were not so lucky to make it back alive. One of the victims of yesternight’s abduction disclosed she was pressed to the floor of the vehicle & driven round Lekki for about 3hrs before finally released.
After being dispossessed of her ATM cards, PIN and accounts emptied. Tale like hers is becoming a daily thing along that axis. These abductors use unpainted taxis and in some cases, tinted SUVs.
