I did not agree with Naira-mally on having big booty is better than having a Masters degree- Dolapo

Chief Superintendent of Police, Dolapo Badmus has weighed in on Naira Marley’s controversial statement that “having big booty is better than having a Masters degree”.

Reacting to it, CSP Dolapo Badmus wrote:

So having a big body part is now better than having Educational or vocational qualifications?(like seriously?) I still cant get over this! I’m saying it again, we need to restore sanity to our system and stop tolerating public nuisance!

Its mediocracy for anyone to applaud an obviously delinquent and unproductive dead duck (deemed a bad influence) hiding under the guise of making music, obnoxious music for that matter.

My advice to younger ones: let no one confuse you. To have a good body part is great…….but to have educational or vocational qualification is more important! Infact its non negotiable! Your body part cannot give you sustainable existence only good educational or vocational qualification will do…be guided

My take on this issue is. One man food is another man’s poison. The reason behind Naira-mally’s theory and Dolapo’s theory is best known to them.

You’ll vomit what you’ve stolen’ — Pastor Tunde Bakare sends cryptic jab to Bourdillon.

Speaking during a sermon at the Latter Rain Assembly on Sunday, Bakare said the people are praising the one who stole from them, and regarding him as a generous man.

The fiery preacher, who also spoke about the race to 2023, added that a truly generous man is a man who “devises generous things, and by generosity, he shall stand”.

“The eyes of those who see will not be dim. The ears of those who hear will listen. Also, the heart of the rash will understand knowledge and the tongue of the stammerers will be ready to speak plainly,” Bakare said.

“The foolish person would no longer be called generous. You can say ‘so so and so’ has stolen all the money in the state, but he is a very generous man, you are foolish.

“That’s why potholes are killing you, that’s what pools of water… you can’t drive now anymore because what is meant for road has been stolen since democracy began, they are living larger than life having jets here, having jets there, having house in Bourdillon, having house in this place, having house in that place, having house in every place at the expense of the public.

“You will not go without vomiting what you have stolen. Wait, and see. Because a king will reign in righteousness and princess will rule with justice. Unfortunately, Nigeria people, you celebrate your villains and crucify your heroes.”

A Nigerian woman stabbed to death while on duty in Calgary.

A Nigerian youth social worker for Wood’s Homes in the area of Marda Loop-Bankview in Calgary-Alberta in Canada was killed early this morning Friday October 25th, 2019 while she was on the job caring for a man, police say,

Deborah Onwu, 47, of Calgary, was identified by police as the woman stabbed in the 1800 block of 27th Avenue S.W. around 2:45 a.m. Police say an 18-year-old at the assisted living facility is in custody and was arrested around 5 a.m. this morning.

Onwu was a youth social worker with Calgary’s Wood’s Homes, a children’s mental health centre that provides treatment to children, youth and families.

“Everyone at Wood’s Homes is deeply impacted by this recent tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with all involved including the victim’s family and our many staff,” said Wood’s Homes spokesperson Sylvia MacIver.

“Debbie was a well-liked and well-respected colleague. She was hard working and devoted to a career of helping. There are no words to describe the sadness our work family is feeling today.”

When police arrived on scene, efforts were immediately provided to Onwu, but she later succumbed to her injuries. While an initial search of the residence didn’t turn up the suspect, one person was located and arrested downtown around 5 a.m.

RIP Deborah Onwu

Staff Sgt. Martin Schiavetta says the 18-year-old had been living at the facility for several weeks.

“She was providing assisted living care to the suspect,” Schiavetta said Friday afternoon. “This was her place of employment. The investigation is still ongoing. If appropriate, we will be in consultation with the Crown prosecutors office.”

Wood’s Homes say they’re working with the Calgary police and occupational health and safety during this investigation as well as providing counselling support for all those affected in their organization, MacIver said.

Because the death happened at a workplace, Alberta Occupational Health and Safety is also investigating.

The suspect remains in custody but cannot be named until formal charges are laid.

Information from neighbours initially suggested the home was associated with the Seven Steps recovery program, however, this is not believed to be the case.

If deemed a homicide, it would be Calgary’s 16th of 2019. Please reach out to her family members and friends.

Reno Omokri replies Ben Bruce.

Distinguished Senator Ben Murray-Bruce,

I am not trying to wriggle away from my vow. For now, he has only promised. I am waiting for him to fulfil his government’s promise.

As a child of God, I will honour my vow. With all due respect, I don’t need you or anyone to remind me sir. Quite frankly, this is unnecessary.

I always honour my word. It is not as if I derive pleasure in opposing General (not President sir. I will wait for the Supreme Court ruling before deciding whether or not he is President.

For now, Atiku Abubakar is my President) Buhari. For now, it is just a promise. Once he fulfils it, I will keep to my end of the bargain.
