5B”WEEPING MAY STAY FOR THE NIGHT, BUT REJOICING COMES IN THE MORNING.”
God’s mercies are new each morning, and His special help often arrives unexpectedly.
Weeping comes as a guest, but God’s gracious favour is with us for a lifetime.
There is hope for the hopeless.
Know that God feels what you feel and does not delight in your grief,but He comes to restore you with unending joy in due time.
Dear Lord, help me never to give up in moments of affliction in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
1 TIMOTHY 6:10
10:”FOR THE LOVE OF MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL: WHICH WHILE SOME COVETED AFTER, HAVE ERRED FROM THE FAITH, AND PIERCED THEMSELVES THROUGH WITH MANY SORROWS.”
God knows we need money and really want to bless us abundantly, but the problem with many people is their attitude towards money.
Beloved, whatever you can not control will control you! There is a need to tame your desire for earthly and mundane things that have no eternal value and set your priorities right.
God must come first in your lives; then every other thing, including wealth, will surely be added unto you.
You shall not have money that will take you to hell in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
Ephesians 2:8-9
8:For by grace, you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Loving Heavenly Father,
I am thankful for your bounty and the loving kindness you showed me, especially during the difficult days of my life. Through these prayers for grace and wisdom, I ask for your amazing grace and everlasting wisdom as I live my life in this world.
ROMANS 15:13
13:”NOW THE GOD OF HOPE FILL YOU WITH ALL JOY AND PEACE IN BELIEVING, THAT YE MAY ABOUND IN HOPE, THROUGH THE POWER OF THE HOLY GHOST.”
Hopelessness is a state marked by great difficulty, doubt, etc, causing one to be confounded or be at a loss on what to do.
Are you confounded by a hopeless situation?
Kindly encourage yourself in the Lord your God. Always turn to God for help because He is the only one who can take you out of that hopeless situation.
Father, please turn every hopeless situation in my life around for good in Jesus’ name
ROMANS 8:26
26:”LIKEWISE THE SPIRIT ALSO HELPETH OUR INFIRMITIES: FOR WE KNOW NOT WHAT WE SHOULD PRAY FOR AS WE OUGHT: BUT THE SPIRIT ITSELF MAKETH INTERSECTION FOR US WITH GROANINGS WHICH CANNOT BE UTTERED.”
God appreciates people who pray fervently for others facing trials.
Beloved, take it upon yourself today to pray for the unsaved; those in danger zones; missionaries, men and women of God, your friends, etc, and every day.
There is a great reward in the intersection. The Lord will grant all your requests according to His will in Jesus’ mighty name.
ACTS 9:20
20:”AT ONCE HE BEGAN TO PREACH IN THE SYNAGOGUES THAT JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD.”
The change that comes to a life that has met Christ is always visible.
One change that must be evident to all in such a life is to become a faithful and zealous witness of the Gospel.
Are you passionate about sharing your faith with others?
When last did you witness to the lost?
God’s reason for saving you is that you may become an active witness through whom others shall be saved.
Share the change Christ has made in your life with others today.
Dear Lord, help me not to hoard the message of the cross and empower me to share my testimony with others in Jesu’ mighty name.
1 THESSALONIANS 5:17-18
18:”PRAY WITHOUT CEASING. IN EVERYTHING GIVE THANKS; FOR THIS IS THE WILL OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS CONCERNING YOU.”
Why should we pray?
We need to pray to overcome territorial powers that are always on the prowl to block and stop good things in the lives of the people: Daniel and the Prince of Persia.
Beloved, we must pray to sustain and maintain what we have and what we have received so that we won’t lose them.
Don’t close your mouth when it appears no answer is coming from heaven.
Keep praying until something happens.
The spirit of revival to pray through shall come upon you today in Jesus’ name, Amen.
LUKE 24:28
28:”YOU ARE WITNESSES OF THESE THINGS.”
Every belief in Christ has been commissioned to carry on the Gospel. The promise of the power of the Holy Spirit is for you.
As you make yourself available as God’s instrument, ask in faith, and you will receive the power to become a faithful witness.
Beloved, are you a witness for Christ? Witness at least a person this week.
Lord, open my mouth to be able to speak about your salvation to people.
LUKE 19:40
40:”‘I TELL YOU, ‘HE REPLIED, ‘IF THEY KEEP QUIET, THE STONES WILL CRY out.'”
Stones are not made to cry out or shout the praise of God; human beings are the ones created to sing His praise. But if people refuse to praise God, He can raise things to sing His praise.
Beloved, make yourself available for the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ to unbelievers around you.
Pray to the Lord for the grace to be a vessel of honour in His service so that He will not replace you with stones.
Lord, make me a vessel of honour in Your service so that I will not be replaced with stones in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
2 Corinthians 12:9–10
9:But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
10:For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities.
Gracious God, You are my creator who has chosen me to be in a relationship with You. Through Jesus, You have extended grace to me.
By Your grace, I have been saved. Day by day, help me to comprehend Your grace more and more in my life.
Give me an increase of grace this day so that I can respond to Your love by my good deeds. Your love is amazing, thank You, O my Father. Amen.
