17:”BUT THE WISDOM THAT COMES FROM HEAVEN IS FIRST OF ALL PURE; THEN PEACE-LOVING, CONSIDERATE, SUBMISSIVE, FULL OF MERCY AND GOOD FRUIT, IMPARTIAL AND SINCERE.”
Bitter envy and strife do not originate from God, and those who exhibit them do not have all the right kind of spirit.
The fruit one bears shows the kind of spirit in charge of one’s life.
Are you peace-loving?
Are you considerate?
Do people see the fruit of mercy and goodness in your life?
It’s not enough to identify with Christ, claim to know God, and the Holy Spirit.
The fruit we bear is the true test of the wisdom we possess: whether it’s godly or demonic.
Father, please give me Your wisdom to live in peace with other people in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
