PSALM 40:3
3:”AND HE PUT A NEW SONG IN MY MOUTH, EVEN PRAISE UNTO OUR GOD: MANY SHALL SEE IT, AND FEAR, AND SHALL TRUST IN THE LORD.”
A new song is one that is fresh, pure, original and renewed in vigor. It is used as a declaration of the Lord’s glory and marvelous deeds.
A new song is not limited in definition but is a song that springs forth from the bottom of the heart. It is also born out of lonely contemplations of God’s greatness when all fear is silenced and a greatful expression to appreciate escape from tribulations and perplexities of life.
New songs must be an unvocal expression of grace and gratitude that leads to outpouring of worship, praise, and adoration to experience further blessings from God.
The Lord will grant you grace to sing a new song this new month/season in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
