I congratulate Ethiopian Prime Minister His Excellency Abiy Ahmed for his well deserved Nobel Peace Prize. His bold moves toward resolving the crisis in the Horn is a pointer to the fact that lasting peace and sustainable development are possible in Africa.
The Award is a big boost to the impetus for the peace process in the region and all other ongoing efforts towards resolving conflicts on the continent.
